Abstract

Presentation about working experiences with students communities to develop Wikipedia.

"Kyrgyz Wikipedian movement" - a project financed by the "Soros-Kyrgyzstan" Foundation and implemented by the "Bizdin Muras" foundation had provided a lot of training and presentations about Wikipedia for Kyrgyz students and involved them in the movement. As a result, our project - the Kyryz Wikipedia, has rapidly grown in 2012. We want to share with you our experiences and inform about the specifics of such kind of cooperations.
