Wikimania is a yearly international conference of the Wikimedia movement.

Since 2005, Wikimedia has organized an annual conference dedicated to the Wikimedia projects, as well as wikis and free knowledge in general. The previous conferences were held in Frankfurt/Main (Germany 2005), Boston (USA 2006), Taipei (Taiwan 2007), Alexandria (Egypt 2008), Buenos Aires (Argentina 2009), Gdańsk (Poland 2010), Haifa (Israel 2011), and Washington, DC (USA 2012).

The ninth annual conference will be held on August 7th – 11th, 2013 in Hong Kong (Hacking days will take place on August 7th – 8th, 2013).
