There are many problems faced by a editor while creating and maintaining articles which have great significance in particular country but which is not so relevant in other countries. Presentation will focus on problem faced, how to overcome such problems and creating awareness about such problems.

There are many problems faced by a editor while creating and maintaining articles which have great significance in particular country but which is not so relevant in other countries. Presentation will focus on problem faced, how to overcome such problems and creating awareness about such problems. For Example I was creating Article on and for an hour the article was blank because So some work in real life, within that one hour some one came and nominated my article for deletion. This happened partly because Mumbai Fire Brigades article is very relevant in local and domestic context but not on global level. Secondly While creating Mumbai Police article majority of references came for police departments official website, official website contained very elaborate information on the police fores so it was used for reference but it was objected upon by some senior members because i was relying on single source, They failed to understand that In developing countries its very difficult to get online references and one has to reply more on offline sources . So Main objective of My presentation will be creating awareness and tolerance for local content on Wikipedia. We all know that Wiki Foundation is also encouraging editors to add more local content on Wikipedia. So I can hope to put some light on this problem and and to find some solutions for it. (PS Above mention example are just for reference not to taken as personal grudge or as any form of complaining.
