Abstract

The presentation is targeting people who can improve the platform of unique educational service – Wikipedia. Author is a university assistant professor who is trying to integrate Wikiversity to his everyday work. He have suggestions how to improve the platform and make it more efficient for teaching and learning. Wikiversity today is not more than a e-textbook which is in urgent need to be updated. Major suggestions include: embedding of video, audio and pictures, creating classroom logbook and some other interactive features. Presentation would be interesting for Wiki developers, Wikiversity users, teachers of all kinds in all fields.
