Hi there. I'm Heather Ford. I've been a Wikipedia researcher since 2010 and have a long history with Wikipedia as an advocate in South Africa as Executive Director of iCommons, co-organiser of the first Wikipedia Academy (as edit-a-thons were called in those days) in Africa, and as an Advisory Board member of the Wikimedia Foundation. I recently published a book about Wikipedia with MIT Press called "Writing the Revolution: Wikipedia and the Survival of Facts in the Digital Age". You can find out more about me and my research at my personal website hblog.org or at my English Wikipedia user page here. (While you're at it, you could edit it too :) It's terrible :))
